Abstract

Fused rhena-phenalene complexes demonstrate Hückel aromaticity, σ-aromaticity (in the saturated rhenaoxirane ring and the unsaturated rhenacyclopropene ring), and pseudo π anti-aromaticity (induced paramagnetic properties).
