Abstract
Here we developed a highly efficient alkene hydroboration protocol, showing that various alkyl boronates can be smoothly obtained in good yields by reacting alkenes with pinacolborane (HBpin) in the presence of 5 mol% lithium diisobutyl-tert-butoxyaluminum hydride.
