Photocatalytic reduction of o-chloronitrobenzene under visible light irradiation over CdS quantum dot sensitized TiO2

Abstract
CdS QDs-P25 was prepared by tethering CdS QDs with P25 through l-cysteine, and exhibited excellent photocatalytic activity under visible light. The photocatalytic reduction mechanism over CdS QDs-P25 was found to be a hydrogen transfer process between o-CNB and HCOOH molecules.
