Abstract
Neutral and cationic palladium(ii) complexes of Npz^Npy^X (X = O, S, and Se) tridentate ligands are used to study the CO insertion and CO/ethylene copolymerisation. This study sheds light on the use of chalcogens as hemilabile donor atoms.
