Abstract

The stereochemistry of human trimethyllysine hydroxylase was determined to be (2S,3S)-3-hydroxy-N^ε-trimethyllysine by comparison to asymmetrically synthesised (2S,3R)-3-hydroxy-N^ε-trimethyllysine.
