Abstract

Nitrogen-doped graphene nanoribbons (N-GNRs) were prepared by thermal treatment of the as-zipped graphene oxide nanoribbon in NH₃ gas. The resultant N-GNRs were found to act as efficient metal-free counter electrodes in DSSCs.
