Abstract

Two pairs of novel pentacyclic spermidine alkaloid enantiomers, (±)-orychoviolines A and B, were isolated from the seeds of Orychophragmus violaceus and represented the first example of a 2-piperidinone-fused hydrodibenzofuran skeleton.
