Abstract

Cu(ii)–salen complex was encapsulated in MWW-framework to develop a chiral organocatalyst for synthesizing DHPMs. With the aid of DFT calculations, Cu(ii)–salen complex was optimized to fit into the porous MWW support while keeping its chirality.
