Abstract

A novel colorimetric, NIR fluorescent probe for ultrafast detection of Fe3+ based on the PET mechanism has been developed. This probe can detect Fe3+ in actual water samples and image Fe3+ in living cells as well as be used for anti-counterfeiting ink.
