Abstract

We have successfully prepared ultrathin WO₃nanosheets with enriched oxygen vacancies and enhanced surface roughness by Ar plasma exfoliation. Owing to the unique interactions, the Pt nanoparticles supported on defective WO₃show significantly enhanced electrocatalytic activity for the methanol oxidation reaction.
