Abstract

A practical and cost-effective synthetic method of P-chiral diarylalkyl, aryldialkyl, and triaryl phosphine oxides by using readily available chiral diphenyl-2-pyrrolidinemethanol as the auxiliary is developed. The long-standing racemization issue during solvolysis has been addressed.
