Abstract

A blue-light excitable near-infrared (NIR) MgGa2(O,F)4:Cr3+,Ni2+ phosphor is developed, which exhibits an ultrabroad NIR emission from 700 to 1500 nm and an internal quantum efficiency of up to 83.3%.
