Abstract

A method for the (3 + 2) cycloaddition of azomethine ylides followed by a (5 + n) double SN2 substitution is introduced for the modular synthesis of dihydrobenzoxazines, tetrahydrobenzoxazepines and tetrahydrobenzoxazocines.
