Abstract

Three families of heterotrimetallic chains with different topologies, have been obtained by reacting Schiff-base bicompartmental [Cu^II(L¹)] complexes and lanthanide(iii) salts, with (NHBu₃)₃[M(CN)₈] (M = Mo^V, W^V).
