Abstract
Novel Li1.2Mn0.6Ni0.1Co0.1O2 hollow microspheres, formed out of the hierarchically arranged nanocrystalline particles containing rhombohedral and monoclinic phases exhibit synergistically improved capacity of 242 mA h g−1 with 97% coulombic efficiency.
