Abstract

The K⁺ and Rb⁺ salts of [W(CN)₆(bpy)]²⁻ ion were compared to the Li⁺ and Cs⁺ ones. The layered structure is independent on cation radii and decreasing strength of the cation–anion interactions on going from Li⁺ to Cs⁺.
