Abstract
An unprecedented dimanganese-substituted silicotungstate trimer K9[H14{SiW10MnIIMnIIIO38}3(CO3)]·39H2O was synthesized, in which the CO32− resides inside the three Keggin {SiW10MnIIMnIIIO38} units.
