Abstract
In situSERS provides direct spectral evidence of route regulation mediated by Au100−xCuxNPs. Further XPS and DFT calculations reveals that Cu doping promotes Cu–H formation and electron transfer, avoiding the formation of intermediatep,p′-DMAB.
