Abstract

Novel nanocomposite proton-exchange membranes based on sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (SPEEK) and functionalized tantalum disulfide (S-TaS2) overcome the dichotomy of the properties of SPEEK membranes for direct methanol fuel cells.
