Abstract

By choosing different light sources, trans-dihydrobenzo[f]quinolines and 8b-methyl-1,8b-dihydrobenzo[f]quinolines were synthesized. trans-Dihydrobenzo[f]quinolines were heated at 200 °C to transform them into cis-dihydrobenzo[f]quinolines.
