Abstract

Mo-doped SnS₂ nanosheets with enriched S-vacancies exhibited a greatly enhanced NRR activity, which is attributed to the creation of Mo–Sn–Sn trimer catalytic sites that can strongly activate N₂ with a largely reduced energy barrier.
