Abstract

We demonstrate that nano-confinement of donor–acceptor recombination can force a nanophase to follow efficient bimolecular kinetics of light-emission, allowing Ga₂O₃ nanocrystals to work in glass as unprecedented solar-blind UV-to-visible converters.
