Modern Aspects of Maintenance Therapy of Patients with Periodontal Diseases

Abstract

В современной стоматологии поддерживающая терапия играет важную роль в лечении заболеваний пародонта. Результаты комплексного лечения пациентов с заболеваниями пародонта могут привести к прогрессированию патологического процесса без динамического мониторинга, своевременных диагностических и лечебно-профилактических мероприятий. Основываясь на многолетней клинической практике, научно-исследовательской работе и анализе современной литературы, авторы статьи представляют основные принципы поддерживающей терапии: мониторинг клинического течения заболеваний пародонта, взаимодействие между полостью рта, общим состоянием здоровья и периодонтальным статусом, интеграция медицинской и пародонтологической помощи, систематичность и эффективность поддерживающей терапии. В статье подробно рассматриваются вопросы организации поддерживающей терапии: основные особенности формирования групп пациентов, заполнения медицинской документации и выполнения обязанностей медицинского работника. Разработанные диагностические и терапевтические мероприятия поддерживающей терапии заболеваний пародонта представляют собой подготовленный алгоритм действий для врачей практического здравоохранения. In modern dentistry maintenance therapy plays an important role in treatment of periodontal diseases. The results of complex treatment of patients with periodontal diseases may lead to the progression of the pathological process without dynamic monitoring, timely diagnostic and medical-prophylactic measures. Based on many years of clinical practice, scientific research work and analysis of contemporary literature the authors of the article present the basic principles of maintenance therapy: monitoring of the clinical course of periodontal diseases, interaction between oral, general health and the periodontal status, integration of medical and periodontal aid, systematic and effectiveness of maintenance therapy. The article details the organization of maintenance therapy: the main features of forming the groups of patients, filling in the medical records and fulfilling the responsibilities of medical personnel. The developed diagnostic and therapeutic activities of the maintenance therapy of periodontal diseases represent a prepared algorithm of actions for doctors of the practical healthcare.
