Abstract
The distribution of water resources between regions should be considered along with various conditions in establishing long-term drought measures. Therefore, analysis of the correlation of drought occurrence by region is essential. In this study, three drought indexes, SPI, GEI, and SSEI, were calculated in major cities, and the regional drought was compared. The drought status by region was compared using the incidence ratio by drought depth, Pearson correlation coefficient. The closer the distance, the higher the correlation between drought indicators. As a result of this study, it is expected that the inter-regional drought correlation analysis can be used to cope with long-term drought.
