Abstract
This study compared performance of 169 students at an inner-city educational center setting and 200 at a traditional college setting in a college-level course in introductory psychology. Mean first examination and final grade percentages were nearly identical for students who completed the course in both settings; however, dropouts were more numerous in the nontraditional setting.
