Lack of Intensity and Frequency of Interpersonal Contacts as Alternative Sources of Consumers' Dissatisfaction

Abstract

A survey of 96 working women showed that respondents who reported either a very high or a very low dissatisfaction with the “intensity” of their interpersonal relationships also showed a correspondingly high or low dissatisfaction with items of material value. No association of this nature was found with regard to dissatisfaction with the “frequency” of interpersonal relationships.
