Indicators of Homosexuality in the Human Figure Drawings of Heroin- and Pill-Using Addicts

Abstract

Human figure drawings of addicts using heroin ( n = 27) or addicts using pills ( n = 25) were examined in terms of which sex drawn first and which sex drawn larger. Out-patient addicts differed significantly from incarcerated addicts for sex drawn first but not from normals. The female figure was drawn larger than the male figure only by addicts using pills.
