Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this qualitative exploratory study is to get insights into the understanding of science teachers' entrepreneurial skills and the strategies they implement to develop these skills of students, who teach science subject to students of Grade 6–8 at government Schools of Sindh province, Pakistan. In this study, the researcher employed a qualitative exploratory research design. Participants were selected through purposive sampling. One‐on‐one semistructured and group interviews were selected as the data collection methods. A thematic analysis process was employed to analyze the data. Findings highlight the need for science teachers to enrich their understanding of entrepreneurial skills and to develop the entrepreneurial skills of students in the context of the middle school level. This study provides a demonstration of science teachers' understanding which will facilitate them as well as other science teachers to evaluate their understanding of entrepreneurial skills and educate themselves accordingly.
