Abstract

AbstractAn environmentally friendly iodine‐catalyzed electrochemical synthetic protocol has developed to access 3‐alkynyltriazoles through the cyclization of α,β‐alkynic hydrazones and primary amines. This reaction is carried out without the addition of electrolyte with excellent functional group tolerance in an undivided cell under mild conditions, affording substituted 3‐alkynyltriazoles with moderate to good yields. The gram scale reaction demonstrates the potential of this protocol in industrial synthesis.
