Abstract

In order to analyze the motion ghosting phenomenon on liqu id crystal displays (LCDs), a motion block artifact simulation model based on response time (RT) curves is established usin g human visual perception theory. By calculating the brightn ess integral, the presence and degree of the Rebound pheno menon are quantified. Furthermore, based on the quantified changes in RT curves at different frames, the mechanism of Rebound generation is analyzed and improvement measures a re proposed.
