Abstract
AbstractInfluence of surfactants on polymer nanocomposites has revealed noteworthy performance and the properties of mechanical, thermal, optical, and electrical. Incorporating graphene loading (wt%) in polymer system, matrices demonstrated enhancement of properties and antiflocculation of graphene particles. Here, various methodologies are examined comprehensively synthesis of surfactant‐modified graphene and subsequently incorporating it into polymer matrices. A consolidated overview of these approaches is provided in detail. Parameters required for the dispersion of nanofiller graphene are also emphasized. Surfactant‐modified graphene poured into polymer composites is preferred for applications in the domain of electrical, sensing technology, and high elevated temperature regions. Prospects and challenges required for the functionalized graphene modifications for polymer–graphene nanofillers are exhibited.
