Digital transformation of the agricultural economy

Abstract

Subject. This article discusses the impact of innovation processes on the effective and sustainable functioning of the agrarian economy. Objectives. The article aims to determine key areas of digitalization of the agrarian sector. Methods. For the study, we used abstract-logical, economic and statistical, and graphic research methods. Results. The article determines that the main directions of digital transformation of the agrarian sector are the management of production processes and logistics. Conclusions. The effective development of rural areas will largely depend on the level of application of information technologies. The use of digital platforms expands the potentialities in solving the problems of modernization of the agrarian sector of the economy significantly.
