Abstract
Welcome to the inaugural issue of the ACM Computers in
Entertainment magazine! With the increasing media's attention on
the influence of movies and video games on children, we examine the
positive effects of entertainment on kids. In particular, we
explore the educational value of entertainment and the technology
behind it.
