Abstract
Objective: This paper investigates the impact of carbonation and sulfuric acid attack on concrete pipes with chitosan addition.
Theoretical Framework: The carbonation and sulfuric acid attack of concrete structures results in a decrease in the durability and service life of structures such as sewage concrete pipes and oil wells and represents a substantial environmental and social concern.
