Abstract
The relevance of harmonizing the lighting of the facades of urban development with the lighting of nearby structures, as well as with utilitarian and landscape lighting is shown. For these purposes, utilization of a conceptual approach is proposed. The development of a conceptual approach to the illumination of urban spaces using computer-aided design tools is described. On the example of the Saransk administrative part fragment a phased development of lighting of urban spaces based on a conceptual approach is considered.
