Abstract
A technique is described for the isolation of temperature sensitive sporulationless mutants from the basidiomycete Schizophyllum commune Fries. Three mutants were isolated and characterized. Mutant spo is stopped during meiosis and mutant stg produces abnormal sterigmata. Mutant ts shows no development at any stage at the retrictive temperature (30 °C).
