Abstract
A new graphical method has been developed for integrating the Gibbs–Duhem equation for the case where activities of the solute are required from experimentally determined values of the activity of the solvent in a binary solution. This method has been applied to the determination of the activities of fractions of polyoxypropylene glycols in methanolic solutions. The accuracy of the procedure is discussed.
