Abstract
The preparations and reactions of a series of 1,3,5-triaryl-2,4-diaza-1,3-pentadienes (1) have been investigated. Products of cyclization (2 and 4), prototropy 3 and addition–elimination (5, 6, and 7) have been characterized. Also, the preparations and reactions of 3, a new isomer of 1, have been studied.
