Abstract

Subject of research: hydrodynamic model describing charge transfer in semiconductor devices in the one-dimensional case. Purpose of research: to develop computational algorithms for finding a numerical solution of a ballistic diode problem. Methods and objects of research: the object of research is the ballistic diode problem. The developed computational algorithms are based on the use of the method of lines, the method of establishment, various non-stationary regularizations and schemes without saturation. Main results of the research: computational schemes were developed based on the use of the spline function technique, on reducing the problem to integral equations and using the predictor-corrector scheme.
