Abstract
Perianal fistula is a very unpleasant condition. It is also quite difficult
to be solved without recurrence or with complete preservation of sphincter
function. This paper summarizes the etiology, classification of fistulas
along with the long term surgical experiences in the approach and the
treatment of this condition.
