Abstract

Social media's influence extends to policymaking, as governments are now more attentive to public sentiment and demands voiced on these platforms. Additionally, social media enables international collaboration and diplomacy, enhancing global governance efforts. In conclusion, social media's influence on governments' operational aspects is undeniable. While it has fostered greater transparency, public engagement, and crisis communication, its impact also necessitates careful management to mitigate potential risks. Governments must harness the power of social media responsibly to ensure a positive and transformative influence on their operations and better serve their citizens.
