Abstract
Though ethical leadership and the well-being of employees have been important topics of discussion for research in recent years, just a few studies have looked at the impact of ethical leadership on employee well-being. This chapter aims to examine the effect of ethical leadership on the well-being of employees in the manufacturing firm and to examine the mediating role of employee engagement. The purposive sampling method was used to collect the data through a structured questionnaire, and a total of 264 responses were collected, which were analyzed on Smart PLS version 3.3.2. The findings suggest that there exists a strong correlation between EL and EWB. Also, there is a strong mediation of EE on the relationship between EE and EWB. The theory builds upon and suggests a strong mediating relationship between EL and EWB when EE acts as a mediator. The finding also suggests that the employees can be engaged in an organization to improve performance through EL.
