Abstract
This study provides a comprehensive exploration of augmented reality (AR) in education, examining its benefits, applications, social implications, ethical considerations, and future directions. The objective of the study is to highlight the potential of AR as a transformative technology in educational settings. The findings reveal that AR offers numerous benefits in education, including enhanced student engagement, improved learning outcomes, personalized learning experiences, and collaborative interaction. The social implications of AR in education encompass equality, accessibility, and social engagement, while ethical considerations involve privacy, security, and pedagogical adaptation. Despite challenges like the digital divide and teacher training, AR offers opportunities and positive outcomes in education. Collaboration and research investment are crucial for advancing AR integration in education. AR has the potential to create immersive learning environments that cater to diverse student needs, enhancing their educational experiences.
