Abstract
The book chapter conducts a comprehensive investigation into the educational challenges faced by underprivileged minority children, aiming to identify pathways for their empowerment. The research emphasizes the significance of education as a potent catalyst for societal transformation and individual growth in a global context that seeks equal opportunities. Persistent disparities hinder the pursuit of equitable education, disproportionately affecting marginalized children trapped in the cycle of poverty and marginalization. To shed light on the complex factors contributing to their educational disadvantages, the study focuses on three crucial dimensions: social identity, cultural capital, and preparedness. Drawing on scholarly sources and empirical evidence, it uncovers the sobering realities faced by these young learners, including systemic barriers, economic deprivation, cultural biases, and limited access to educational resources.
