Abstract

In the era of the internet, 5G is the super-fast network unified with mobile phones and communication devices, with a good bandwidth spectrum to transform information. The combination of IoT devices with 5G technologies facilitates quick and seamless data transformation. This expansion fosters connectivity, operational efficiency, and intellectual development. An intrusion detection systems (IDS) is an efficient tool for network security that keeps an eye on malicious activities or security policy violations under surveillance to detect anomalies in devices. The early part of the chapter deals with the integration of 5G technologies with IOT devices. The chapter also emphasize the role of collaboration between IDS and emerging technologies in deep learning (DL). The integration of intelligent algorithms enhances detection accuracy and enables adaptive responses to evolve the security threats in real-time. In conclusion, the insights provided in this chapter aim to understand the Research gap in DL IDS and the pivotal role played by IDS in ensuring a resilient and secure IoT environment.
