Abstract
A large body of research supports the importance of family involvement in raising youth. Children who feel more supported by their families are more likely to experience both academic and social benefits. Family-school partnership activities such as communicating with teachers and school personnel, attending school events, and participating in organizational and leadership are components of multifaceted interventions that directly support effective family management practice and promote the well-being of children and adolescents.
