Abstract

The Earth is experiencing unprecedented environmental challenges, with climate change being one of the most pressing issues. It has become increasingly evident that climate change poses a significant threat to the planet's ecosystems, as well as human health, social stability, and economic development. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, it is crucial to understand the necessity of imparting climate knowledge. This chapter aims to explore the reasons why imparting knowledge regarding climate change is imperative for building a sustainable future. The primary objective of this chapter is to highlight the importance of educating children on climate change. It will delve into the various aspects that make climate change education crucial, including raising awareness, fostering a sense of responsibility, promoting sustainable practices, and empowering children to become agents of change.
