Abstract

This case-based analysis delves into the intricate web of challenges surrounding the adoption and utilization of information communication technology (ICT) in Ethiopian governmental organizations. By employing a comprehensive framework, the study aims to identify and dissect the prevailing application gap, elucidating the factors contributing to the existing disparities in ICT implementation across various government sectors. The research adopts a qualitative approach, leveraging case studies from diverse governmental organizations to capture the nuanced intricacies of the current ICT landscape. The findings from this study contribute valuable insights to policymakers, organizational leaders, and ICT professionals, offering pragmatic recommendations to bridge the application gap and enhance the ICT infrastructure in Ethiopian governmental organizations.
