Abstract
Binge eating, marked by consuming excessive amounts of food within a short timeframe, often coupled with a feeling of lack of restraint, is now a notable health issue among working professionals in India. This study aims to investigate the prevalence of binge eating behavior in this demographic and delve into the intricate relationship between emotional well-being and physical health. This study employs a mixed approach, integrating quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews to collect thorough insights into binge eating tendencies among employed individuals. By identifying the factors that contribute to binge eating, this study aims to inform the design of workplace wellness programs and mental health initiatives tailored to the unique needs of professionals in India. The study will contribute to the development of targeted interventions, preventive strategies, and workplace policies aimed at mitigating the negative consequences of binge eating thereby promoting a holistic approach to employee well-being, fostering healthier lifestyles, and improving overall productivity.
