Abstract

For many years, the student's companion was a paper textbook. During informatization of education, people are talking more about distance education and digital education. It is envisaged that the textbooks will also be electronic copies of paper form or in the form of electronic educational resources. It should be remembered that the previously developed methodology for preparing textbooks does not work in the case of electronic educational resources since this type of activity is not standardized. This determines the existing approaches to their creation, integration into training programs, and evaluation of the effectiveness of their use. Along with the traditional paper textbook, in the digitalization framework, there is an approach to learning using electronic educational resources (EER) in the digital educational environment (DEE). One of the basic elements of this environment is an electronic textbook (ET) and EER.
